INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

Eligibility of Tenderer : The invitation for tender is open to all eligible tenderers as mentioned below-i) The maximum 3 (three) number of arbitrations against the Tenderer over a period of 5 (five) years.ii) The Tenderer shall have a minimum 20 (Twenty) years of overall experience in the shipbuilding. Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper.iii) The minimum specific experience of successfully completion as a builder of at least 2 (Two) nos. coastal class Pilot Vessels/ Passenger Vessels/ Cruise Vessels within the last 5 (Five) years under supervision of International Classification Society (member of IACS).iv) Single contract value of self-propelled class vessel should be at least BDT 1570.00 million or USD 18.80 million within the last 5 (Five) years.v) The Tenderer shall have minimum experience in the supply/ production capacity of at least 2 (Two) nos. coastal class Pilot Vessels/ Passenger Vessels/ Cruise Vessels within the last 5 (Five) years under supervision of International Classification Society (member of IACS).vi) The offered pilot mother vessel shall be built on “proven design” of pilot vessel/ passenger vessel/ cruise vessel/ passenger ferry.
