Tenders are invited for Market Scans and Analysis of the Blue Economy Sectors in Bangladesh IFC seeks a firm for this assignment to conduct market scans of the following blue economy sectors in Bangladesh: 1.Deep sea fishing (up to 118;813 sq. km)2.Coastal aquaculture and marine culture; including cage culture;3.Marine acquaintance products; including seaweed; 4.Marine biotechnology; 5.Fisheries post-harvest; production and processing including supply chain services;6.Ocean renewable energy and tidal energy; 7.Coastal eco-tourism: recreational water sports; yachting and marines; cruise tourism; among others;8.Coastal smart eco-city;9.Shipping and Coastal Shipping;10.Seaports; 11.Passenger Ferry Services and Inland Waterway Transports;12.Ship Recycling;13.Blue Energy (Osmosis) And Biomass; 14.Aggregate Mining (Sand; Gravel; etc.);15.Marine Mineral Mining; and 16.Marine plasticsBased on the findings of this assessment; the firm will work with IFC and relevant GoB stakeholders to identify the top five priority sectors; where interventions should be focused to drive private investments (including FDI) and trade.
