Description:
IFC will carry out acomprehensive market assessment and analysis of the MSME ecosystem in sevenAsian countries with the goal of providing information relevant to thedevelopment of sustainable finance frameworks and products within thosemarkets. Consultant is tasked with preparing country assessmentreports to provide a comprehensive overview of the sustainable MSMEs ecosystemand its stage of development across seven Asian countries: Philippines,Indonesia, Mongolia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Vietnam.The assignment will specificallytake into account the following context and issues:Ecosystem maturity and sustainability practicesNational frameworks, policies, and regulations for MSMEs- sustainable financeGovernment and industry initiativesStakeholder mappingESG integration and disclosure requirementsAlignment with global standards and Inclusive Sustainable Finance principlesIn addition, the Consultant will prepare summary slides for the countryassessment reports and collaborate with IFC to conduct at least three disseminationworkshops, including one in-person session with key stakeholders in Manila, thePhilippines.
