Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Designing the Bangladesh Green Growth Vision and Financing Plan. The consultancy aims to develop a Green Growth Vision and Financing Plan (GGVFP) for Bangladesh.The vision will identify priority policy interventions that would drive green growth, whilst the financing plan will outline how these interventions could be funded.This vision will first build on entry points for developing priority green growth policies and investments, by reviewing current and pre-existing World Bank analytical studies and Bangladeshs national development plans i.e. the Bangladesh Perspective Plan 2041, Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100, 8th Five Year Plan (8FYP),and Mujib Climate Prosperity Plan (2030). Through this, the consultant would establish the challenges for green growth (institutional, sectoral, fiscal and governance based) and the opportunities for green growth, by identifying both current government proposals and complementary policies and options.
