Project Name : Jamuna River Sustainable Management Project-1: Riverbank Protection and Riverbank Training (Component-1)
Information for Tenderer/Consultant: Eligibility of Consultant : As per Tender Document.
Brief Description of assignment : Social Baseline Survey under JRSMP-1 (Fulchari & Kalihati)Secondary data on climate, land use, river morphology, fisheries, and agriculture will be collected from relevant agencies (BWDB, BBS, DoE, DAE) and reviewed to support survey planning. Structured questionnaires will be designed, pre-tested, and finalized to ensure data reliability.Household and community surveys will be conducted using enumerators to collect socio-economic data on population, livelihoods, land ownership, housing, and access to services. Social assessments will include Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) with community members, local leaders, and officials to capture perceptions and key issues.Drone surveys will be carried out to generate high-resolution imagery for land use mapping, vegetation classification, and river morphology assessment along selected river stretches. GIS tools will be used to process spatial data and prepare geo-referenced maps and analysis.Logistical support including transportation, accommodation, communication, and survey materials will be provided throughout the fieldwork period.
