Description:
Tenders are invited for Bangladesh Resilient Rural Distribution Network Master Plan (RDMP). 1. This selection is for the advisory and supervisory consultant to prepare Bangladesh's Rural Distribution Master Plan (RDMP). The scope includes: Task 1 - Providing intensive advisory support to Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) to organize and manage a national effort to geospatially represent distribution assets; which will enable load flow modeling and least cost investment planning for BREB-s network; Task 2 - Projecting load growth across the BREB network through 2050 and conducting system studies to advise BREB on a least cost investment pathway to affordably and reliably serve load harnessing the advantages of advanced metering infrastructure; power system communication and controls technologies; energy storage; and distributed resources; and Task 3 - Conducting technical knowledge transfer and capacity building relating to modern planning techniques and tools for Tasks 1 and 2 through on-the-job trainings; seminars; and technical workshops for BREB staff; and also proposing a broader scope of training needs for capacity enhancement for BREB and its cooperatives and relevant stakeholders to implement the RDMP.
