- Expression of Interest are invited for Assessment of Readiness of the Institutions, Regional Transit Corridors and Trucking Industry for the Efficient Implementation of the Motor Vehicle Agreement in Eastern South Asia. ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The Client is preparing regional lending operations that will directly support the Governments of Bangladesh and Nepal in the efficient implementation of MVA. In addition, the Bank is also supporting prefeasibility and analytical studies to better inform the strategic decisions of the Government of India and some of Northeastern States for the same purpose. With that in mind, the Client is seeking consultancy services to (i) assess the readiness of the trucking industry in Nepal for the implementation of the BIN-MVA (ii) determine the feasibility of high potential transit corridors for promoting regional transport connectivity in the BIN region, (iii) develop potential PPP projects, and (iv) assess requirements to create an enabling environment and inform the capacity building of the government institutions in Bangladesh and Nepal for the implementation of seamless regional transport connectivity Publication Date: 08-Apr-2022 Expression of Interest Deadline: 02-May-2022
